Let’s be honest, winter can be tough. It’s darker, colder, and the couch is calling. But here’s the truth: your results don’t come from motivation, they come from consistency.
That’s why this winter, we’re flipping the script. We’re not waiting around for motivation to magically appear… we’re building discipline, routine, and serious self-pride.
Here’s how to keep that week 1 energy alive all the way through to week 12 and beyond.
Remember Why You Started
That Week 1 feeling? The excitement? The “I’m ready for change” spark? Hold onto it. Write your why on a sticky note, your phone background, or your mirror. Revisit it every single week.
“I'm doing this to feel strong in my body again.”
“I want energy to play with my kids.”
“I deserve to feel proud when I look in the mirror.”
Plan Ahead Like a Pro
Motivation dips when you’re unprepared.
✅ Set your workout days in your calendar.
✅ Meal prep on Sundays (even just the basics).
✅ Pack your gym clothes the night before.
It’s not about being perfect, it’s about making it easy to show up.
Embrace the Season, Don’t Fight It
Winter isn’t your enemy. It’s an opportunity. Use the slower pace to turn inward, reflect, and reset.
Track Your Wins, Not Just Your Weight
You’re doing more than losing fat or getting fitter.
✔ Are you lifting heavier?
✔ Sleeping better?
✔ Making better food choices?
✔ Saying no to what doesn’t serve you?
That’s massive progress, and it’s worth celebrating.
Discipline : Motivation
You won’t always feel like it, but you’ll never regret showing up.One good choice leads to another. One session, one walk, one meal… they all add up to something incredible over 12 weeks.
Your Spring Self Is Thanking You Already
Visualise how you’ll feel when spring hits, lighter, stronger, more confident, and proud that you didn’t give up when it got hard.
Your future self is counting on you. And she is going to be so proud you stayed the course.
This winter, choose consistency over excuses, self-love over self-sabotage, and progress over perfection.
You’ve got this, all the way to Week 12. And I’ll be here every step of the way cheering you on.
Your coach, Kirst xx
