Ingredients
Burger Meat
½ Tablespoon avocado or olive oil
½ yellow onion, chopped
500g lean ground beef, ground turkey or ground chicken
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1tsp "everything" mingle seasoning
Burger Bowls
4-6 cups shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
2 cups diced tomatoes, I like roma tomatoes
1 cup thinly sliced red onion - optional
1 cup chopped dill pickles
1 avocado, sliced (optional)
1 bag frozen sweet potato fries or homemade sweet potato fries (use 1 cup cooked in your bowl)
Big Mac Sauce
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon ketchup
½ teaspoon yellow mustard
1 Tablespoon pickle juice
1 Tablespoon finely chopped pickles
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon salt, add more if needed
Instructions
Cook the sweet potato fries according to the package instructions or prepare your homemade version. While they cook, move on to the next steps.
In a pan over medium heat, add oil and the onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Add the mince meat, yellow mustard, and mingle seasoning. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through (about 7-8 minutes), breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, chopped pickles, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined. Add more salt, if desired.
Divide the shredded lettuce among 4 bowls.
Top each bowl with cooked burger meat, diced tomatoes, red onion, chopped pickles, avocado slices (if using) and sweet potato fries.
Drizzle each bowl with sauce.
